I am delighted to announce I received a Community Strengthening Grant from the Golden Plains Shire which is being auspiced by the Golden Plains Arts Inc. group. This means I can offer Journal to the Self, free, in the Dereel community for 12 local people.

Journal to the Self is a 12 hour journal writing program run across 4 weeks. The focus of the course is on developing self awareness and working toward personal growth. The techniques help you to explore various aspects of yourself, your life and your relationships with other people. This might interest you if you are considering change. You will benefit if you want to record your joys, or work through something which is concerning you. These techniques are also helpful if you have experienced loss or if you just want to live differently.

Kathleen Adams, psychotherapist and Director of the Centre for Journal Therapy, developed the program in 1985. Journal to the Self has been successfully run in many countries for decades.
