Dereel Winter Community Day

Saturday 18th August from 2pm to 4pm

There will be something for everyone at the Dereel Winter Community Day.  The theme for this event is ‘Information for New and Current Residents’ and a representative of each community group will be there, along with Lucy Osmond, Dereel Wellbeing Officer.  So if you are curious about a group or have questions about local services, facilities or plans, come and have a chat.

The Hub Cafe will be operating as usual, with Devonshire Tea, cakes, coffee, hot chocolate and chai.  Dereel Community Garden will be open and there will be displays from the Dereel History Group and Art In Dereel.

Between 2:30pm and 3pm a representative from each of the local groups will give a short ‘snapshot’ of what their group does, and further information will be available from tables set up in the Hall. This is your chance to put a friendly face to a name, see the recent additions to the community spaces from Community Planning and find out more about Dereel.

Please share this post to your networks within Dereel and surrounding communities. All welcome.
