Come to the Dereel History Display to view photos, maps and artefacts, and read information on the history of Dereel I have collected over the last 20 years. These items have come from the people of Dereel, historical organisations, via the internet and from many other sources.
There will be static displays, maps (everyone loves maps) and information booklets to view on lots of topics. These include the Churches, the school, gold discovery, the football team of 1923 and the Dereel Swamp.

Date: Saturday 26th August 2017
Time: 12 noon to 3pm
Location: Dereel Soldier’s Memorial Hall, 14 Swamp Road, Dereel
Cost: $5.00
Note: Entry will be $5.00 which includes a ticket for the Devonshire tea throughout the afternoon served in the Community Centre kitchen with real coffee.
Bring Your Dereel History
If you have any information you would like to bring along to share, you are most welcome to do so on the day. Feel free to get up and talk about your memories of good old Dereel.
