Are you, or your student needing some help with mathematics?
Maybe the Dereel Maths Help group is what you need?
Recently released research indicates that over 45% of parents feel uncertain helping their children or young people in their care with mathematics homework, whilst a staggering 75% of students wished they had more support with their mathematics outside of the classroom. With this in mind, Erin will trial an opportunity to access maths support online. This will be a way for students or parents to access support from the comfort of their own home, which in the winter is probably quite appealing!
Through Facebook, (either the students account or your own) head on over to Dereel Maths Help page, and request to join. This is a closed group to those in the Dereel and immediately surrounding area.
Then, whenever you or your student get stuck, just post a message on the page and Erin will post a solution, (written or video) showing how it’s done. Erin will offer live support between 5-6pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but feel free to post questions at any time and Erin will answer them when she can.
