The next Art In Dereel gathering will be on Saturday 3rd June at 1:30 pm. This month’s theme is ‘organic’ so bring something creative to show and tell us about it. It can be your own work or a work by someone else that inspires you in some way.
Our process is simple: we go around the table, taking turns to talk about the item we have brought in to show everyone. What we like about it; how it makes us feel; how it was created and sometimes there are stories that are closely linked with the object.
Art, in our view, is anything creative. So, if you are a musician, a writer, a crafts person, a photographer, an actor, a playwright, an artist or any other form of creative person, we would love to see you. If you are someone who doesn’t create art but is interested in art, you are most welcome to attend as well.
