The next Intro/Info session scheduled is ‘Barista at Home’ presented by Richard Emery, coffee roaster. This session will run from 2pm to 4pm on Saturday 5th November at the Dereel Community Centre. Richard says “Ask me anything you want to know about coffee. I mean anything….. If you want to you can bring your own machine for us to work on. I can even do a very basic service for you – I will have my trusty tool kit with me.”
“By coffee machine I mean anything that makes roasted coffee into the delicious drink that runs the world.
“The session will begin at 2pm and go as long as we need it to. I will have examples of coffee from around the world. I will have green coffee beans and I will even bring my little home roaster with me. This is a real chance to ask anything about coffee to make your home experience of coffee better.
Someone once said “give me enough coffee and I can rule the world” and someone else has said “behind every success is a substantial amount of coffee”. So let’s make the best coffee we can with what we have. “
