Health Checks will be running once a month in the Dereel Community Centre. They will be held on the third Monday of each month from 2pm-4pm in 15 minute sessions.
This is a great chance to get your blood pressure checked and have a chat about the health issues concerning you. There will be a 15 minute session per person, you are encouraged to book in advance. If you aren’t able to book in, please come along on the day.
We will also have local service providers available for you to speak with over the duration of the afternoon, including representatives from Centrelink, Uniting Care and Centacare.
The first health check session will be held on Monday October 24th (please note this is the fourth Monday for October only).
- Richie will be present from Centrelink to discuss any queries you may have regarding your Centrelink and MyGov accounts.
- Melissa will be present from Uniting Care, she specialises is mental health and disability support services and is able to answer queries regarding the changes to the NDIS.
- Louise will be present from Centacare, she works in the field of family relationship services and can assist anyone looking for further support and counselling services.
