Meet Fiona: Our New Community Wellbeing Officer

My name is Fiona Robson and I am the new Community Wellbeing Officer for Dereel. My role is to work with people in Dereel to help us to be healthy and well.  We are planning a Community Day on Saturday 10th September. All community groups are invited to be involved and everyone is invited to check out the new facilities and enjoy the fun. Please contact me if you would like to know more.

The community centre is open on Mondays and Tuesdays between 9.30am and 4.30pm. Please drop in and share your ideas.

Community Conversations
Guest speakers and conversations.
When: Usually Monday or Tuesday. Check the monthly wellbeing program for details.
What: Find out about different topics with a guest speaker. All welcome.
Where: Dereel Community Kitchen

Fun and Games
Board games, card games and more.
When: Mondays, 1.30-3pm.
What: A chance to meet, play and chat. All welcome.

Community Breakfasts
A chance to get together and share a meal.
When: The first Tuesday of the month, 8am
What: A meal to share with the whole community. All welcome.

Walking Group:
Walking and chatting together.
When: Tuesdays, 8.30am.
What: A walk followed by a cuppa and chat. All welcome.

Dereel Pie Lunch
Let’s get together and celebrate the end of footy season.
