Dereel Spokes Newsletter

The following report was received from the Dereel Walking Group’s  Lorraine Ellis:

The Dereel Walking Group began meeting again mid January without our mainstay, Bennita Hough, who has retired.

At the moment we are meeting in the Community Centre each Tuesday morning at 8.30 am. We walk according to the individual’s fitness, then have a cuppa and a chat at the Centre.  Jacinta Walsh, from The Well in Smythesdale , is walking with us most Tuesday and she has organised some information mornings for us. These are scheduled after we have walked. We will try and keep people informed about the speakers on these days.

We would encourage those who can to come along on Tuesdays. If you don’t want to walk , pop in and have a cuppa and chat to some of your neighbours, and share our information mornings.You will be very welcome.
